K Cup Filling Station
thingiverse
When filling my k-cup filter, I frequently encounter annoyance due to its inability to stand upright independently. The lid's design causes imbalance, while the protruding square bottom piece leads to frequent falls. To rectify this issue, a small piece serves as a stabilizer, allowing the filter cup to hold coffee beans of your choice securely. My Classic Rostock printer, equipped with Repetier and Slic3r software, was used to manufacture this part. I opted for a .35 layer height and honeycomb infill with .3 density, resulting in printing time of 30-40 minutes when increasing speed or maintaining 100% speed for an aesthetic appearance. The print size is scalable, as I have successfully printed it at 200% without any issues. There's a minor flaw in the STL file that affects surface perfection, but it doesn't hinder its functionality. I might try to fix it later, and I've made some enhancements to the design. At present, I am testing the fit of the improved version.
