K-Cup Coffee Grounds Extractor
myminifactory
Want to feel good about tossing out those used K-Cups? Consider recycling them by using the coffee grounds in your garden instead. Designed to make it easy and efficient, this fits perfectly on a standard wide-mouth mason jar. I'd tried two other designs before, but they either broke easily or didn't get all the grounds out - often both. Plus, they required a lot of effort for each K-Cup processed, so I thought a screw-like device would remove the grounds quickly and with minimal fuss. This design works great in PLA as well as PETG, which I've tested both materials on (the pictures are of PETG). Keep in mind that if you use PLA, let used K-Cups cool down before twisting on the screw to empty the grounds. Freshly extracted grounds can deform PLA at high temperatures, but I haven't had this issue with PETG. Hope you find this as useful as I do - happy printing!
