JX9 Connector Mount - Ranger T1

small adapter designed to install a JX9 connector in place of the stock Ranger T1 quick release connectors on the wings. Installation of the JX9 requires some 'fettling' of the plastic mounts both within the wing (to make room for the JX9 pins) and on the fuselage (as the JX9 is slightly larger than the stock connector). In addition, I needed to modify (using a hobby file) the JX9 connector housing slightly to open the mounting holes and to avoid fouling the locating lug on the fuselage - therefore making it possible to revert to the stock connectors in the future. The holes on this part may need post processing with a drill. I used a 2.1mm drill for the top mounting hole (that screws the mounting plate to the fuselage) and a 1.7mm dril for the locating pegs immediately below. I used M2x8mm screws to attach the JX9 connector to the mounting plate
