****UPDATE:**** 07/22/18 I've finally got around to updating the size of the charger hole in V2, and I'm glad I did. When I designed the original version, I didn't account for how much the PLA material would expand once printed. To make sure everything fits together properly, you need to add an extra layer thickness to your design, so I've increased the charger hole size by 15-20%. Now it's all set and ready to go! I'm going to finalize this file soon, so feel free to let me know any feedback or ideas for upgrades. Cheers! ****UPDATE:**** 07/19/18 Check out a Timelapse video of this thing being printed - it took 4.5 hours: https://youtu.be/8B69rLBJfes I just uploaded a real photo of the dock holding my 4 juice pods and the JUUL vape itself, and I'm super happy with how it looks and performs! With one minor exception, everything is working great - the charger hole needs to be updated in size. I'll keep this as a work in progress until then, but feel free to print and try it out for now. It's pretty compact, light, and easy to carry around from room to room. ****UPDATE:**** 07/18/18 Yesterday was my first time printing this file, and I learned a valuable lesson - double-check your measurements before uploading! After the print finished, I realized that the vape itself didn't fit in the dock, nor did its charger. So I quickly whipped up a modified version, which turned out to be an improvement in several ways. By scaling the triangle on the Y axis to make room for the charger, I was able to add more pod holders - now the dock can hold 26 pods instead of 18! The new design should work perfectly with both the vape and its charger. I'm currently printing the new version and expect it to be done in about 5 hours. As soon as it's finished, I'll post the result. For now, you can see mockups and the STL file for the new version (V2), but the actual printed photos are still showing the original design until V2 is done printing. *------end_of_update-----* 07/17/18 My JUUL vape arrived today, and while it was charging I started sketching my first charging dock/pod display. Designed in Tinkercad (I love this software!), this dock will hold and showcase up to 18 pods as well as the vape itself. It also features an opening in the back that allows you to slide in the charger dock, making it a charging dock when needed or always. I really like the triangular design - I think it would make a great addition to any desk, counter, bookshelf, entertainment unit, or drawer. Print a couple and place them in different spots! Let me know how you'd upgrade this design - I'll probably tweak it as I use it.
