I don't like the idea of mounting linear bearings with zip ties. Therefore, I designed a new LM8UU holder for my Mendel90. I'm using MISUMI LMU8 linear bearings, which have the same dimensions as LM8UU, and Igus DryLin RJ4JP 01-08 should also fit. This design is easy to print without support structures. I printed it in PETG with four horizontal perimeters, four vertical perimeters, fifty percent infill at a layer height of point two millimeters. You will need the following materials: two M4 lock nuts and two M4 bolts that are ?? mm long, depending on where you want to mount them.
