Just another Coffe tamper

Just another Coffe tamper

I made a tamper for my Silvercrest espresso maker. It fits the Silvercrest espresso maker's coffee loader, which can be found at thingiverse.com, specifically at thing:3020735. I built it using two parts - the handle and the tamp. To make it heavy, I placed a large screw with a hexagonal head inside. The screw is 63mm tall, and its head measures 30mm across its flats. Both parts were printed in PLA and fit together tightly, but I added some glue to ensure they stay secure. The tamper part has supports that can be easily removed after printing. The tamp part features a coffee sign, which was created using a free SVG file from onlinewebfonts.com/icon/59033. For filament color changes, I used the Prusa multi-color print page at prusaprinters.org/color-print/.
