Just another versatile 18650 to 2x D-Cell converter. Simple and straightforward printable without any unnecessary support required. Designed specifically for an 8mm metal rod insert with a precise length of approximately 53-54mm. If you don't have a solid rod on hand, you can easily roll some aluminum foil as a temporary substitute. For users who need additional surface area at the negative pole (commonly used in flashlights), there's a convenient slot for a 5 Eurocent coin located at the bottom of the adapter. I personally use this converter in both my D-Cell powered fuel transfer pump and flashlight, with excellent results. Please be aware that 18650 cells can pack an incredible amount of power. When using this adapter, you can expect to achieve up to one-third more battery voltage from your Li-ion cell compared to the standard 2xD-Cell setup. However, use this converter only if you're thoroughly familiar with handling Li-ion batteries safely and effectively.
