A tiny piece of plastic is all that stands between me and my computer's screen. This small strip of flexibility has been attached to my machine since it was first built, allowing me to input commands with ease. It's an incredibly useful tool that lets me navigate through menus and documents without having to physically touch anything else. And yet, I rarely give it a second thought until something goes wrong and suddenly it's all that stands between me and frustration.
