The human-shaped object sits atop the build plate, serving two purposes in one: it shields the cables from view and houses an LED strip that illuminates the printing area below. I must admit, my own example did experience a minor setback due to filament blockage but ultimately should print flawlessly now. This design may also prove suitable for use with other machines like the Flashforge or Replicator.
