Floor lighting fixtures installed in 60mm electrical boxes are prone to having a weak mounting system - specifically, a piece of steel that acts like a spring. My eight-year-old daughter has already figured out how to remove them from their electrical boxes. To boost the lifespan of floor lights and safeguard children against potential electric shock (even though it's only 12 volts), I've designed custom brackets that fit snugly into electrical boxes, requiring some force to install or uninstall.
