Jurassic Park East Dock sign with spinning arrow
thingiverse
Still got stuck on Jurassic Park, you are! I finished up the east dock sign that Dennis Nedry slams into in the movie. Capturing that epic scene made me make an axle and a cap so you can turn the arrow sign like it's real. UPDATE: 10-31-14 - I lowered the axle piece down to flat on its axis, which let it print correctly, by the way. Also included the separate axle part. Instructions are below: Print all parts together. Glue "Boat" and the "East Dock" sign to a post. Attach the hexagonal axle piece to the back of the arrow sign now. Thread the axle through the hole in the wooden sign over here. Lastly, glue that end cap to the axle part sticking out of the sign.
