Jurassic Park Barbasol Can Embryo Holder

I designed and printed this in three sections to fit my friend's available lab vial perfectly. The other designs I found didn't meet my requirements, so I created a custom version. To assemble it, you print the three parts separately, each fitting snugly into the one below it. The height is adjustable, and sanding the central column ensures a precise fit every time. I've struggled with importing models from Blender to Cura and achieving accurate results. To get this right, I scaled the base proportionally to an x & y size of 63.5mm, and you may want to start by testing a print to ensure it fits snugly into your can. The upper layers were printed at 62.5mm for x & y dimensions. After a little sanding, they fit together seamlessly. It slides in and out with a gentle jiggle. To make the printing process smoother, I had the printer software add a support structure underneath the print. When it was time to remove the supports, they came off easily with minimal cleanup required. If I were to continue developing this design, I'd consider adding embedded magnets so that it clicks into place inside the can. Additionally, finding a way to secure the vials in place would be beneficial – as it stands, they simply sit loosely.
