Jurassic Easter Egg
pinshape
I designed this for Easter as a unique alternative to traditional painted eggs. The model consists of four parts: one solid egg and three separate sections that can be assembled using a small key. Each part is approximately 60 mm high, making them similar in size to an average egg. I printed the design using my Original Prusa i3 MK2 with a layer height of 0.10 mm and 5% infill without any support material. To ensure proper alignment, I intentionally left a small gap between the two halves that required me to carefully sand down the key to achieve a precise fit. To avoid this issue, you can simply scale the key in your slicer from 100% to 98-99%. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome despite some minor details being lost during printing.
