Jura Impressa drainage valve cap

This part slips onto the drainage valve of Jura Impressa, AEG Cafamosa and Krups Orchestro and Siciliana models. Tested on a Jura Impressa S75.

The original cap breaks after a few years, which causes dry ground coffee to be ejected into the grounds container and no coffee or water pumped through the coffee spout, but into the drip tray instead. This is because the broken cap slips and does not allow the valve to return back to its original position.

This part is a bit tricky to print, as the metal valve tappet needs to be inserted into the cap, but must also not slip off in use. I designed the upper part of the cap to fit too tight. I supported the rod by drilling a fitting hole into a piece of wood so it can't bend, inserting the tappet until only the very last upper part is not inserted. I then carefully hammered on the cap. I printed it in PETG which allowed it to deform slightly. The repair has worked flawlessly in my Jura since 1.5 years.

I attached the SCAD file so the tolerances can be adjusted for your printer.

Repair instructions for the valve can be found here.

my print settings:

Ender 3 Pro, glass plate
layer height 0.2
Extrudr PETG
open part facing up, supports for small plateau that centers the spring, small brim
