This ancient statue captures the lower half of Jupiter Heliopolitanus, a revered deity and guardian of the historic town Heliopolis, now known as Ba'labakk in Lebanon. Flanked by mighty bulls on either side, the impressive figure proudly displays its front torso adorned with the busts of Hercules and two powerful goddesses, their faces stern and regal beneath a fierce lion's head.
