JUNO’S ALTAR. Carrara marble. Neoattic workshop in Rome. Late 1st Century BC. Circular altar in honor of Juno, depicted as a peacock, situated in the frons pulpiti (stage front) of the Roman theater. It was later reused as construction material in late antiquity. It’s part of a set of three altars dedicated to the Capitoline Triad. ALTAR DE JUNO. Mármol de Carrara. Taller neoático situado en Roma. Finales s. I a.C. Altar circular en honor a Juno, representada como un pavo real, situado en el frons pulpiti (frente del escenario) del teatro romano.
