JunkYard Graviton Beamer

The latest model I'm working on for my WIP VR shooting range is a game-changer. The Junkyard Graviton Beamer is a creative solution to a common problem when doing physics-based Vive VR stuff; it's surprisingly easy to accidentally knock or throw an object outside the trackable volume. To give myself a fun and in-narrative way of pulling things back, I've created this homage to the Half-Life Gravity Gun. You'll notice it's a bit of a beast poly-wise (32,538 tris according to Maya), but that level of detail is well worth it when you can move the object within a couple of inches of your eyes. Once fully implemented, the three switches and forward lever will work together seamlessly, and the six forward metal panels at the aperture will be physically jointed, creating some cool noisy movement when the beamer is in use. If you're curious about the project, I've just posted my first dev-log on it here: Devlog Video. Your feedback is welcome and eagerly anticipated!
