Junior hockey puck adaptor for Kossel Delta Puck Foot
thingiverse
I'm sharing a smaller version of the hockey puck foot created by tjko. Feel free to use his original endcaps, but swap them out for these puck holders instead: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2515909/#files\r\n\r\nThese puck holders offer a significant improvement over the original design with recessed screw positions, allowing pucks to sit flat. My pucks fit perfectly, making it challenging to remove them once pushed in, but this design prevents them from slipping out when lifting the printed object.\r\n\r\nIn my area of the UK, hockey pucks are hard to come by, so I opted for Junior pucks on eBay, which are commonly used for car jacks. They worked out much easier to obtain.\r\n\r\nThe Junior pucks I used measure approximately 61mm in diameter and 20.5mm in thickness, despite being advertised as 60mm x 20mm on eBay.\r\n\r\nThese puck holders effectively lift the printer and provide a minimal amount of dampening without causing any wobbling or movement.\r\n\r\nI hope these puck holders are helpful to some of you!
