Jung CD500 Spacer for HomeMatic Switches

The HomeMatic HM-PB-2-WM55-2 wall-mounted switch can be a challenge to integrate seamlessly with existing switch designs. I wanted mine to complement my other switches and power outlets, which are all from the Jung CD500 series. To achieve this harmony, I designed a custom spacer that is glued or screwed directly onto the wall and securely holds both the base plate of the HomeMatic HM-PB-2-WM55-2 and the Jung CD581 frame in place. Next, I carefully cleaned the backside of a CD590 rocker to remove any residual holding material before gluing it firmly on top of the HM-PB-2-WM55-2 with Tesa Powerstrips for a seamless finish.
