Jung AS light switch plate, smart home
thingiverse
I wanted to turn my home into a smart home by adding "smart" capabilities to my default light switches. With this base, you can add additional switches to the wall, blending in seamlessly while performing intelligent tasks. Fits the Jung AS series perfectly. Attach the plate from behind and secure two affordable PCB pushbuttons that cost approximately $5 for 100 pieces on Chinese websites. Then, press on the default Jung AS switch plate from the front, and voila - the two pushbuttons are now activated by a completely normal-looking switch plate. The empty space in the middle is ideal for an "Anarduino" mini wireless module from http://www.hoperfusa.com, which it holds securely in place. In the example photos, I replaced the frame for two items with one for four, added two of these plates, and used a Homematic switch module to connect the switches. A custom cover plate for the original switch is still a work in progress, but it will be even more attractive in the future. Print Settings Supports: None
