I am installing a junction box that allows me to conceal the cables while mounting the Hik Vision's mini-PTZ camera directly above the Ethernet cable emerging from the ceiling. This is necessary, because this camera lacks space for concealing cables above it and Hik Vision does not offer junction boxes specifically designed for this model. The camera is intended to be attached to a plastic mounting plate provided in the box, which is screwed into pegs on the wall or ceiling. However, the cables will be routed to the side, making them visible, which is not what I want. What appears to be the bottom of the box is actually its top. The Ethernet cable was routed through the large hole, and then the entire box was attached to the ceiling together with the mounting plate supplied. This was achieved using long screws (60mm in my case). To prevent the camera from falling off if the PLA plastic ages, the box does not transfer any forces. The mounting plate is actually attached to bronze spacer sleeves that fit into the four plastic tubes in the box. To keep them from falling off when installing them upside down, I used a small bit of Patafix while inserting them into the box to keep them in place.
