Update (1/09/2021) Added some reinforcements to the screw holes and a slit for the moxon. I broke the 10mm kill switch and used a 12mm one instead so I made the hole bigger. Also added a bit of taper to the sides of the base for better grip. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update (1/08/2021) You may want to beef up/reinforce the small tabs that you screw into. Snapped a few of them after a couple of assembly/disassembly. Use stronger material than regular PLA or PLA+. The moxon antenna works surprisingly well. Was able to fly 250m straight ahead, 100m to the left and right of the handset on 10mW 500Hz maintaining above -100dBm. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Made a custom handset from the TLite internals. Original design from Peho's ExpressLRS Handset. Wanted better gimbals than the squeaky ones that came with the Tlite. Opted for Frsky M7 Gimbals. The hall sensor connectors are different from the stock Tlite so I reused the Tlite ones and made a stopper for it. Used a Gnb 2s 3000mAH goggles battery and connected it in parallel. Added a kill switch and xt30 to charge it with a lipo charger as I don't trust the Tlite pcb. Used Bt2.0 connectors to make it easier for disconnecting the two halves. Used a 1/4" to 3/8" thread adapter with a camera D-ring as a Neck strap holder. Heated the thread adaptor with a soldering iron to thread it in. It has room for the internal 4in1 module but since I wasn't using it I left it out. Currently using a DIY ExpressLRS 2.4G module designed by Jye Smith. Paired it with a moxon antenna from Prodrone. Replaced the stock switches with rounded switches and momentary button switches. Did the mosfet mod by Stylesuxx to avoid battery sag caused by the anemic Tlite pcb.
