The case already features a circular socket on its backside with three screw holes where these parts are intended to fit inside. A slot is also provided for the cable, which requires a slight modification to be made a little bit deeper. There are two distinct components: one part holds the speaker in place while the other secures them firmly. The four lugs at the bottom of the first part serve as an attachment option using hot glue or similar materials. In this scenario, you may not need the second part, which serves as a cover or lid. To assemble this mount/adapter, you will require three screws. However, M2 screws are too small for the holes in the case. A suitable alternative is 2 mm countersink wood screws, although they are not ideal and might necessitate drilling out the holes in the parts and/or case to accommodate your available screws. The speaker type utilized is widely available online from China, with specifications of 8 Ohms and 2 W. Before selecting a different speaker, please refer to its datasheet (listed below) to ensure compatibility, bearing in mind that modifying the case voids any warranty you may have. When installed, the speaker faces inward, situated directly behind the vertical dial knob, offering a minimal opening towards the front.
