Create yellow PLA handles with 0.5mm layers via 3D printing. For the rope connectors, use a lathe to turn aluminum pieces; these should fit securely (ISO k5) into the bearings. Alternatively, design and print your own plastic connectors (untested by me). Insert two ABEC-3 8mm bearings into the PLA handles, adjusting the design or applying glue if necessary. Secure with two M3 5mm bolts, and attach a plastic-coated steel wire rope.
