The driving force behind creating this was the inability to find a suitable holder anywhere - neither online nor in brick-and-mortar stores. All standard holders have an axle parallel to the wall, with insufficient distance between the axle and the wall for larger rolls. Since I can purchase jumbo rolls, I need to make my own holder. Clearly, standard arrangements (with axles parallel to the wall) are not suitable for this roll size, so it must be upright against the wall. I used anchor screws for plaster walls (Easyfix Hollow Wall Anchors), as visible in the packing picture and when mounted into the wall. This solution allows easy removal of the holder at any time and potential relocation. However, there is a minor drawback with plaster walls: rolling on this holder creates vibrations, which are transmitted from the holder to the wall and amplified by the plasterboard, potentially causing discomfort for some users.
