Fits commercial jumbo toilet rolls with centre core hole diameter 75mm or larger. The example shown is a 300-metre 2-ply jumbo roll with a 75mm inner core hole. Comes with an internal angled support ramp inside to safely sustain the weight of the roll and force tugging while being efficient with 3D printer filament. Print vertically; no support needed. The hole in the middle can be used to hold spare bits of paper for later use, such as if you use jumbo rolls in the kitchen instead of toilet rolls as kitchen towels. We recommend using the core only option for small 3D printers. If using the larger model with the blade, you can glue on a serrated blade from an aluminium foil box to help tear the paper. Use 1 to 3 screws as desired; three is best for stability and to prevent breakage. We use screws with a thread outer diameter of 3.5mm, inner diameter of 2.5mm, and 25mm long (typical M3 chipboard screws). We recommend printing with 2mm walls. You can optionally stick or wrap office tape around the outside after printing to allow smooth turning of the roll; it's not necessary but you can also use aluminium foil. This model is 100% original sculpted from Blender due to the toilet paper shortage during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when commercial toilet rolls were available in large supply, but domestic rolls were sold out.
