This is a significant upgrade from Pipe Design's original pipe (check out the remix link). Note the substantial size difference between the original 16 oz design and this 24 oz design. Key improvements made: The valve now features keyed ends that fit perfectly into the stand openings, eliminating the need for additional hardware such as screws. This streamlined design reduces complexity. The main body has been modified to accommodate Danco brand #40 3/4" O.D. x 5/8" I.D. x 1/16" O-Rings (part number 96754, available at Lowe's with item number 198986). These modifications enhance the overall performance of the pipe. The main body has a slight taper on both sides, which aids in water funneling and improves the overall experience. The UpStem receptacles now reach the print bed, reducing the need for supports during printing. The valve has been redesigned to allow water to flow directly from top to bottom, eliminating the risk of water collecting and flooding in the bowl holder. The stand components have been reworked to support 24 oz Wide-Mouth Mason jars, increasing the volume by 50%. Additionally, the design is stronger structurally, featuring side supports and keying through-holes for the valve to prevent spinning. The base has been modified to accommodate the side supports (Side Tall Stand.STL). The UpStem features a tapered interior, eliminating internal overhangs that can cause stringing during vertical printing. Key additions: An 18 mm bowl holder has been added, in addition to the original 14 mm holder. Printing tips: Print the mouthpiece, valve, UpStem, and Bowl holder parts on end with a wide brim for optimal results. Print the Main body with supports from the bed only. Print two copies each of the "Tall Stand", "Side Tall Stand", and TallUpStem parts. When printing gasket.stl, use TPU material and install the resulting gaskets before tightening the jars securely. Assembly instructions: Install four O-rings into the Main Body first. Apply food-grade silicon grease to the O-Rings and along the outer surface of the valve to prevent water leakage. The amount of grease required may vary depending on your printer's tolerances. When inserting the valve, insert the chamfered end from the side with the UpStem receptacles. Mount the valve ends into the stand with the opening facing down (away from the UpStem receptacles). Install the Mouthpiece to one end of the valve and the Bowl holder to the opposite side nearest the UpStem receptacles.
