Jumbo Machinder In-Shoulder Shooter
thingiverse
This is an elbow shooter print for the 2 foot tall Shogun Warriors toys from the late 70s. The in-shoulder shooter was used with Godzilla, Grendizer, the popy version of Gaiking. Not shown in the photos above are additional parts: 4-40 ultrasonic (heat) inserts 4-40 x 3/8 panhead screws Spring for the push button. From MSC Industrial Supply either their 06810238 or 06810253 which is .18 x .016 x (.375 or .625) spring Spring for launching the fist. From MSC Industrial Supply, I have used 03308954 which is .85 x .054 x 2 spring. Or not use a spring at all, and for looks only I printed the main shooting housings vertically. The push button was printed horizontally. See the photos for its mounting orientation. You could likely not need to use screws, and instead use a piece of tape or some super glue to hold the two together. Just don't glue the button on until the part is placed into the toy. I printed at .2mm layers and 4 bottom, top, and perimeter layers to ensure a tough shell. I also print almost all my stuff in PLA. My model was done in Fusion 360
