Completely re-designed and re-engineered to fit within a 22cmx22cmx22cm print bed, this 3-part design takes up minimal space. Thick walls, approximately 2mm in thickness or equivalent to 4-5 layers at 0.4mm (my printing settings), provide stability. The bottom section is designed as a bowl, while the top two sections are capsules. The midsection serves as the main container and extends into the nose-cone, making it the largest portion before considering its extension. Due to many polygons required for rounded surfaces at this scale, the file size is considerable. Printed at 1000% scale with settings of 0.25mm layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle, this model took approximately 85 hours to reach its full height of 65cm. A brim is highly recommended, especially for the wingtips of the engine, and I've included a brim helper model as well. For optimal results, print with a high nozzle temperature to ensure good layer adhesion and minimize retractions. This will help reduce stringing significantly. Support structures should not be necessary. The screw locks are designed to function in reverse, so right-hand screws loosen while left-hand screws tighten. However, mirroring one axis for all three models can resolve this issue. It's not advisable to print at a scale much smaller than 900% as the walls will become excessively thin, compromising the model's integrity.
