Julian - Animal Crossing
thingiverse
Model is based on Pocket Camp, courtesy of Centrixe's hard work in ripping it. I made a few tweaks by adding a base and optimizing it for printability. The model prints in two separate pieces that need to be glued together afterwards. Printing settings call for both a brim and supports to ensure a successful print. I print at 0.12 mm resolution, which yields good results. When gluing the pieces together, I highly recommend using Locite super glue. Line up the base first, let it dry, then attach the head. This allows you to make any necessary adjustments for warping that may have occurred during printing. If you want to give your model a fresh coat of paint, start by spraying on a primer followed by acrylic craft paint from Walmart - the cheap stuff works just fine if thinned with water first. Once the painting is done, seal it off with Krylon Colormaxx Clear - Flat for added protection.
