A majestic marble slab bears the inscription marking Julia Daniels Moseley's final resting place at Limona Cemetery in Florida. This historic cemetery, situated on Lakewood Drive in modern-day Brandon, was established in 1876 within the thriving town of Limona. The drive itself formed part of the ancient Seminole trail that led to Fort Brooke. Julia Daniels Moseley was a talented artist and prolific writer who shared her thoughts with family and friends across the globe through numerous letters. Her granddaughter, Julia Winifred Moseley, compiled these writings into an edited collection titled "Come to My Sunland: Letters of Julia Daniels Moseley from the Florida Frontier, 1882-1886." These heartfelt notes offer a unique perspective on life in those pioneering times. Married to Charles Scott Moseley, a skilled engineer and watchmaker with numerous patents and groundbreaking inventions, Julia's family lived on a lakeside homestead built around 1886, now recognized as an NRHP site.
