Jules Dubosq's Colorimeter

The colorimeter is one of the pioneering analytical tools that measures the absorption of specific wavelengths of light by a particular solution. It was invented in 1928 at a Vienna workshop led by Dr. Albert Veit. The instrument's inventory number is 4697; 702/V and it is currently housed at the Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius. This colorimeter can be viewed online on the museum's website, listed as object #2820. It was digitized through the RDW MIC project in Virtual Małopolska.
