Juicer Pulp Guard

Juicer Pulp Guard

thingiverse

An alternative pulp guard for your "Power Juicer" is available if the original one went missing during repairs. A friend found that using a bag at the output works but is messy; however, this new design should help reduce the mess. Although they didn't have the real container to test it with, measurements were taken using calipers. The guard is printed in two halves ("juicer_thing.stl" and "juicer_thing_mirror.stl"), which can be fused together using acetone for a seamless fit. For larger build platforms, use the combined piece ("juicer_thing_full.stl"). A plastic bag is still used to catch pulp, but it's now more contained and easier to dispose of. To ease cleaning, acetone smoothing can be applied using a prevail sprayer followed by a cotton ball soaked in acetone.
