I was searching for a reliable cable clamp to keep the output cable of my JuiceBOX EVSE secure. This heavy-duty cable is a 40A, 240V charging cable equipped with a J1772 connector specifically designed for electric vehicles (EVs). The Clamp-o-Matic tool worked flawlessly, but I needed additional side-to-side strength in the clamp to withstand the weight and tension of the cable when handling it. To achieve this, I enhanced the design by incorporating triangulation into the cable clamp. To ensure optimal performance, I recommend printing the clamp with a 30% infill setting to provide the necessary structural integrity.
