Juego de Pelota - La Quemada
sketchfab
The ball game was practiced for centuries in Mesoamerica, involving the confrontation of two teams, whose members had to hit a rubber ball with different parts of their bodies, but not with their hands. The objective was to introduce the ball through stone or wooden rings, although these have not been found until now in La Quemada. The ball game typically takes the form of an "I" Latin letter, with the central part being the court. In the case of La Quemada, it has a size of 70 meters long by 15 meters wide. Due to the looting that it suffered for many years, only low walls are currently preserved, which originally had to have greater height.
