JST 3s balancer - conversion connector type
thingiverse
This is a modification of my 2s connector to 3s version. It was used to replace different housing (possibly JST-EH, but I'm not entirely sure) with JST-XH form, using original contacts without soldering. The tools used are shown in the photo - two pins of varying size, a mini screwdriver and a mini file. Steps after printing (wires movement): 1. The printed connector must be inspected and cleaned of potential strings inside its holes (use pins or a file) if necessary. 2. Using a small pin, unlock the contact and remove it from the old housing - be careful not to touch both contacts! 3. Insert the removed contact into the printed housing so that the locking jag is facing down (towards the flat side of the connector). 4. Use a pin to push through the housing into the removed 'female' contact, acting as the 'male' contact, to keep the moved contact in place and prevent it from bending when pushed into the housing. 5. Use a small screwdriver to push the contact into the new housing. Check its position using the pin inserted previously. The locking jag should be visible in the small hole on the flat side of the connector.
