This small, light, and stable camera tripod is perfect for securing an action cam during time-lapse photography. Commercial options were subpar and pricey; thus, I chose to use the Mobius action camera's ball head sticky mount on a 3D-printed tripod. To do so, gather 3 x M4 nuts and bolts and the ball head from a Mobius sticky mount (e.g., http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Windshield-Mini-Tape-Mount-Holder-for-Mobius-Action-Sports-Camera-SHPG-/301151018245?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item461dffdd05). Follow these steps: 1) Print three tripod legs and a hub, 2) Assemble the legs with M4 nuts and bolts, 3) Disassemble the sticky mount (remove the screw from the ball socket), 4) Clean the hole in the tripod using a file or emery cloth, 5) Super glue the ball head into the tripod's hole, and 6) admire your handiwork. Cheers, James.
