This design is intended to be a drill jig for the Steam Deck Jsaux Modcase front cover in order to allow airflow while the front cover is on. In my case, it's for use with an external display, so i don't have the internal display exposed while it's connected to a TV when i'm traveling.Jsaux Modcase: https://jsaux.com/products/modcase-for-steam-deck-pc0104I wanted to use my Steam Deck while connected to an external dock/display, but I also wanted to keep the Jsaux ModCase cover on since it does such a good job of protecting the Steam Deck (plus it's inconvenient to find a place for the front cover). So, in order to keep the cover on, I needed to modify it to allow for airflow through the steam deck vent but I couldn't remove too much material since the vent area is used on the Mod Case to latch closed. One of the holes in my photos isn't aligned with the rest because I was hasty and drilled before making the jig. The final design that you'll print is centered/aligned better with the vent as well, so yours should turn out even better.You will need an electric drill and a spiral flute drill bit in order to drill the vent holes in the Jsaux modcase cover.I sized the holes to use a 6mm spiral flute drill, but I ended up using a 7/32" drill bit because it turns out I didn't have a metric set of drill bits (RIP).Just slide the jig over the Jsaux front cover and drill, baby!
