JRockland Megator Extruder
cults3d
2021-01-04 Added a picture of the gears interaction with the filaments. might help to explain how it work; I basically didn't have enough grip with 1 pair of dual geared drive system, so I added a pair. Part of a project I had ben working on for the last couples of months, this extruder can be adapted to with with most custom 3d printers. It come with the gantry carts and belt tensioners, parts who must be modified to work with your printer. Fit normal system + dual H-bot + Core XY NOT YOUR EVERYDAY EXTRUDER !! This is a advance and complex extruder and use a LOTS of parts. It include is own Z sensor, Y endstop and a big part cooling fan. I basically took everything I liked from different concept and put everything together; E3DV6 type cooler, Bondtech 3 to 1 gear and Bondtech dual gear driver system (x2). This thing is a real monster, in a really small package. It is still a work in progress, but having some more people working on it seem like a good idea. at the moment I'm using it on a daily basis and it run like a charm. I won't try to sell that as I think we could make 3d printing much better if we work together. designed 100% by myself, all from scratch. I basically took all the parts I wanted, put them together and built that monster around it. The printer itself will be uploaded pretty soon, working on some last minutes challenges. Feel free to modify it, and if you create parts to make it fit common printers please send me a copy so I can update that file. *Should be printer with NYLON, but it does work with PETG. WON'T HOLD THE HEAT WITH PLA. **I will be making a video soon on how to assemble it as it need to be 'primed' and it is a complex built. ***ALL PARTS ARE IN MM, AND NEED TO BE REDUCED TO 1% OF THER CURRENT SIZE; as the program I use to design it give me issue with complex part I have to design everything 100x bigger. ****parts required are in the material list. Keep in mind just this extruder worth as much as some complete printer on the market.
