This is a prototype bolt and magazine well lock-out designed specifically for the Just Right Carbine. The insert is based on a 9 mm Glock magazine, so no other calibers have been tested. This BOLT MAG LOCKOUT (version JRC9-BML1E) also allows for a standard pistol cable lock to be inserted for added "lockout" potential. UPDATE: On June 11th, 2016, the original STL file (~3 MB) was replaced with a smaller version (1.63 MB), making downloads faster. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm & .3mm Tested Infill: 30% Minimum Notes: SUGGESTED ITEM PRINT SETTINGS Infill: 30% to 100% Shells: 3 minimum Supports: Not required Raft: Not recommended or required Hot End: 240C (based on two rolls of Taulman 3D n-vent) Hot Bed: 60C (based on two rolls of Taulman 3D n-vent) Filament diameter: 1.74 mm (based on two rolls of Taulman 3D n-vent) Retraction: 1.2 mm (based on two rolls of Taulman 3D n-vent) PLEASE NOTE: The STL file was saved in its suggested printing orientation, so you may need to rotate it around the Z-axis as needed. This part was designed using Taulman 3D N-Vent filament. Print speed and temperature settings for N-Vent were based on original Prusa i3 MK2 Slic3r settings for ColorFabb XT and translated to MakerBot. Do not use an enclosure when printing with N-Vent, as active cooling is required. PLA filament is not recommended for final use; instead, use impact-resistant filament types like ABS, PETG, etc.
