JPT's Y-Axis Motor-Mount for MendelMax

JPT's Y-Axis Motor-Mount for MendelMax

thingiverse

The original Y-axis motor mount of the Mendelmax 1.5 is flawed, as it fails to account for applied forces, causing the motor to shift when tension is exerted on the belt. To rectify this issue, an improved design has been created with V2 featuring a larger motor hole diameter, elevated motor mounting position, and wider belt opening. V3 includes additional slot holes, while V4 boasts a completely new design using Misumi rail and prints with the motor facing the platform. Essential components for installation include four M3x10 bolts and washers, and two M5x10 bolts and washers, in addition to a NEMA17 motor.
