The MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Is Able To Create Rafts For Printing. A Raft Is Used In 3d Printing Because It Helps Keep The Model Stable On Top Of The Platform While It Prints. Without A Raft, The Printed Model Could Collapse Or Get Distorted, Which Wouldn't Be Good At All. Additionally, The MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Supports The Use Of Different Printers From Other Companies To Make Printing Much Easier. I Find That This Is Really Useful When You Need To Work With People Who Have Differently Equipped Printer Sets And You Want To Share Data With Each Other Efficiently. This printer works in the US.
