I recently built my own Hot Wheels monster truck after messing around with one that I purchased, so why not take it up a notch and print my very own? Using 3.175 mm in diameter axles cut down to approximately 45 mm allowed the students and I to create something unique from each other. Every student used the same chassis and wheels, but then brought out their imagination by designing and printing their own customized body that they superglued directly onto the chassis. The ingenious design of slots in the chassis provided an impressive articulation of the axle when driven, giving them endless amounts of control over steering and navigation.
