Joystick Stencil/Faceplate

Joystick Stencil/Faceplate

Not exactly a remix, but I wanted to give credit to the base of this design. Utilized the original joystick enclosure designed by Ecken and Adafruit in 123Design as a starting point. Then, I made the faceplate my own by making the buttons 24mm and moving everything closer together. My goal was to create a stencil for a mini Joystick/RetroPie controller that could be printed on the 7x7in bed of my Da Vinci Pro. You can use 24mm arcade buttons or 3D print these: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1400499 (Just scale them up 190%) and mount a small/cheap tactile button: http://amzn.to/2coYxgQ inside them, and you have a fully functioning/fully printed arcade button. To complete this project, I recommend: -Sugru Moldable Glue for mounting buttons: http://amzn.to/2cp0k5E Print Settings: -Printer: XYZ Da Vinci Pro 1.0 -Rafts: Doesn't Matter -Supports: No -Infill: 30% -Notes: Since used as a stencil for wood, I only printed at 3mm, feel free to increase the thickness if using for an enclosure faceplate. Used a 5mm brim to prevent warping.
