Joystick for people without fine pincer movement
thingiverse
This object was created to help people who struggle to move their forefingers and thumbs, as I did after getting a motorized chair last year. My own motorized chair only came with a traditional joystick shaped like an upside-down pyramid. However, that type of joystick wasn't very functional for me because my forceps movements were restricted. I made it difficult for myself to control the chair due to this limitation. So, I built a new type of joystick that allows me to hold onto it more securely with one hand and still steer. Using my whole hand made the chair much easier to operate. This joystick model was created in Solid Works software based on my own hand size and proportions
