Joystick 3D Printer Control - updated
thingiverse
Get a new set of controls for your 3D printer if you have sticky buttons or prefer an industrial feel. The package includes a micro-switch joystick, two momentary push buttons for select and reset, and a shroud to prevent accidental pressing. Additionally, it features a switch for those with LED lighting and a separate "back box" with a 5-degree angle. The front panel glues to the surround, and the angled face mounts to your printer at your chosen angle. It fits over existing buttons, and you can choose your own fixing method. Print in PLA at 100% for the fascia part and 30% for the surround at 0.27mm layers. The parts include a V4 screw-mount joystick with microswitch (44mm wide, 36mm between fixing points, 41mm high, and 23mm behind), a 15mm handle diameter, and a 20mm cut-out. Note that when fitting, lightly bend the two protruding connections on three sides for a snug fit to the back surround. The package also includes an SPDT LED lights switch (3A 125vac, 3.5mm hole), a black select button (12mm hole, silver/black, 2a 250v large momentary push to make 2 pin), and a red reset button (Maplin FH91Y, 50v 1a large momentary push to make 2 pin).
