Joycon Adapter for iPad Mini
thingiverse
Adapter for an iPad Mini and Nintendo Switch Joycons. iPadOS natively supports Joycons since version 16 beta. iPad is securely held by 12 magnets (5x5x2mm Neodym). (The Apple Pencil can be connected to the two magnets in the bar in front of the iPad.) Harvesting the official Joycon mount (check the box your Switch came in ^^ ) is necessary, as I'm reusing the metal rails for connecting the Joycons and those plastic thingies that deliver the light from the Joycon LEDs to the front of the adapter. The adapter of course not only supports the official Joycons but also more ergonomic unlicensed replacements. Update: Reduced print time by one third by sacrificing a bit of sturdiness Greatly reduced amount of parts to print Optimized ergonomics by increasing bulge behind Joycons Optimized magnet fitting Optimized led thingy fitting (Pictures still show old, thicker version, will update soon)
