Joy Con strap holder (side mounted)
thingiverse
Here's a quick model I put together as a solution to keep my Joy Con straps within easy reach. I had seen several other similar models on thingiverse, but they all mount to the back of the dock. My problem was that I use a game cart holder made by diarx that takes up most of the back of the dock (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2182820); I prefer this design over others on thingiverse because games stack side to side, making it easier to see what games are in the slots. So I made this to attach to the side of the dock, allowing me to attach both at the same time. There's plenty of space for the Joy Cons to attach and be charged simultaneously. The model comes with separate files for left and right sides of the dock, labeled L and R accordingly, as well as versions with and without the Nintendo Switch logo. I don't like the supports that my slicing software generates, so I added my own into the STL file. It worked really well for me in my settings, but I've included two versions of the file labeled SS without supports, allowing you to use your own software to generate the supports if you prefer. Enjoy!
