Joy-Con Grip Moto Mod

Since Nintendo unleashed their voice chat app, I yearned to craft a grip that could securely cradle my phone. Deciding to employ magnets, I set out to create a custom Motorola Mod for the Z series phones. Utilizing four 8x3mm cylindrical magnets, this design effectively holds the phone in place. To seamlessly integrate the Joy-Cons, I liberated the rails from the original grip that came with the system. However, I had to pre-drill holes so I could screw the rails firmly into position. A small update was made on January 22nd, 2018: a minor indent was added for the power/lock button and the guide pin was downsized.
