Joy-Con Grip

Joy-Con Grip

myminifactory

This ergonomic design Joy-Con grip works seamlessly with both left and right Joy-Con, providing a snug fit for the user's hands. To print this 3D symmetric design, simply slide the Joy-Con from the top into the grip, giving users full access to all buttons. A key printing requirement is to orient the design at a 45-degree angle, eliminating the need for support material! The flat surface makes it easy to print without any issues. To achieve optimal results, use these recommended settings with plenty of cooling: * Layers height: 0.1 or lower * Active cooling: yes (the more, the better) * Speed: 60 mm/s or slower (slower is indeed better) * Infill: 20% with a 1.2mm shell thickness or more (for extreme gamers or those who prefer a heavier controller) A brim is also recommended to ensure a smooth print. Printing time comes in at approximately 5 hours. Don't worry if your printer struggles to print without support material - these settings are designed for success! The beauty of printing without support lies in its non-interference with hand positioning. Even with excess support material, there's minimal impact on hand placement. To achieve a faster print time, use the following optimized settings: * Layers height: 0.2 or 0.25 * Support: touching build plate only * Overhang angle for support: 60 degrees * Active cooling: yes * Speed: 60 mm/s or slower * Infill: 20% with a 1.2mm shell thickness or more * Brim: recommended Printing time comes in at approximately 2.5 hours. I'm glad you like the grip, and I appreciate your feedback!
